1 c. butter, softened,
2 1/4 c. flour, divided,
1/2 c. powdered sugar,
4 eggs, beaten,
2 c. granulated sugar,
1/2 c. lemon juice,
dash of salt,
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, 2 c. flour and 1/2 c. powdered sugar. Blend until smooth. Pat dough into bottom of 13x9x1 inch pan. Bring dough 1/2 inch up sides. Bake at 300 until lightly browned. Combine eggs, sugar and lemon juice. Mix well. Add 1/4 c. flour, baking powder and salt. Blend. Pour over pastry and bake at 300 for 30-40 minutes or until done. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into bars when cooled.
