1 T. butter
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 slightly beaten egg
1/2 cup milk
1 cup all purpose flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. cinnamon
granular white or colored sugar (for topping)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a 9x9" greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. While very warm sprinkle the top with granular sugar. When cool cut into squares.
