2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups sugar 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 cup cocoa 1 cup oil 1 cup buttermilk 2 eggs 3 tsp. vanilla 3/4 cup hot water
Sift flour, sugar, soda, salt, and cocoa together. Add oil, buttermilk, beaten eggs, vanilla, and hot water. Mix well. Bake at 350º in greased and floured (or sprayed) 13X9 inch pan for 40 - 45 minutes. Ice with the following recipe:
