2 cubes butter ½ cup light karo syrup 2 cups light brown sugar 1 tsp. salt
Bring above to a boil. Add ½ tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour over 6 qts. Of popped popcorn spread on 2 cookie sheets. Bake 1 hour at 250. Stir every 15 minutes.
It never takes 1 hour for mine to cook, more like a ½ hour to 45 minutes. Make sure you watch it and stir often as the syrup mixture will burn. Turn out on waxed paper to cool. Break up and store in airtight container.
