Ingredients:

3 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup chopped yellow onion
4-5 cloves of crushed garlic
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup cubed carrots

Put above ingredients in soup pot and sauté until onions are soft, about 5-8 minutes.

Add:
1 cup sliced zucchini
1 cup chopped green pepper
3 ˝ cups chicken broth
2 cups or 1 large can stewed tomatoes with juice
1 - 15 oz. garbanzo beans with juice
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.

Add:
2 teaspoons salt
˝ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Keep at lowest possible heat until 10 minutes before you serve, then heat the soup to a boil.

Add:
1 cup small macaroni shells and boil gently until pasta is tender.
