3 eggs
1 cup dark corn syrup
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup pecan or walnut halves or pieces
1 unbaked 9 pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350

In a small mixer bowl, beat eggs slightly at medium speed. Beat in corn syrup, sugar, butter or margarine, vanilla and salt until blended. Stir in pecans or walnuts.

Spoon batter into pie shell. Bake 55-65 minutes or until knife inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool to room temperature and serve.
