1-1/2 pound ground beef (or turkey)
1 cup tomato juice
¾ cup quick oats, uncooked
1 egg, beaten
¼ c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients; mix well. Press firmly into ungreased loaf pan.
Bake @350 degrees for 1 hour.

To make:
Hamburgers: reduce tomato juice to ½ cup.
Meatballs: Omit tomato juice and egg; add 2/3 cup milk. Shape into 16 balls.
Brown in large skillet: 1 Tbls. oil. Combine 12 oz. can tomato paste, 1 cup water, 1-1/2 tsp. oregano, 1 tsp. salt. Add to meatballs; simmer about 30 minutes.
