Mix together and drop by spoonfuls on top:
1 cup flour
1 Tbls sugar
1-1/2 tsp. b. powder
tsp salt
3 Tbls shortening,
cup milk

Sauce:

Mix and cook until thickens: 1 cup sugar, 3 Tbls flour, dash salt, 1 tbls butter, 1-1/2 cup water

Add 1 Tbls vanilla, 1 Tbls cider vinegar.

Line a 9x9 in. pan with apple slices ( 3 or 4 cups) mixed with sugar and cinnamon.

Bake 400 degrees for 25 30 mins.
