1 head cabbage, large – cored and chopped into 1” chunks
1 medium onion – diced
1/4 C olive oil
1/3 C cracked wheat – cover and soak in water for 15 minutes
1/4 C lemon juice
1/4 t allspice
1/4 t cumin
1T salt
1 t pepper
1 to 2 T garlic powder

In large pot, sauté onions in olive oil until transparent. Add cut up cabbage and spices.
Add 1 cup water. Stir and cook approx. 10 minutes until reduced by half. Add drained cracked wheat. Cook uncovered on low for 20 – 30 minutes.
When done, add lemon juice
