1 1/2 t salt
3 c. water
1 c. milk
1 c. grits
1/4 lb. butter
3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese
4 eggs, beaten lightly

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*.
Bring salt, water and milk to a boil. Add grits and stir until thickened. Add butter and cheese, stirring until melted. Add eggs. Pour into a buttered casserole (9 inch diameter, 4 inch deep). Bake for 45 minutes.
Serves 8-10.
