1/2 c. margarine or butter
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies or crushed Rice Chex cereal

Directions:
Directions:
Remove ice cream from freezer and allow to soften.
Melt margarine (butter) in 13 X 9 X 2 inch pan in a 300 degree oven. Add rice cereal, brown sugar, coconut and nuts. Mix well. Return to oven for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until lightly toasted. Cool. Remove half of mixture. Spread remaining mixture evenly in pan. Place softened ice cream on top. Smooth until even. Sprinkle reserved cereal mixture over top. Freeze 2 hours before serving.
