"Plain fresh bread, its crust shatteringly crisp. Sweet cold butter. There is magic in the way they come together in your mouth to make a single perfect bite."--Ruth Reichl

Ingredients:
Crust:
6 T. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2 T. sugar
Brownie:
1 pkg. 8x8" pan brownie mix
Topping:
4 c. large marshmallows

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325. Line 8x8" square pan with foil so it hangs over the edges.
Lightly butter the foil with some of the melted butter. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs and sugar to remaining melted butter. Press into pan. Bake about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the brownie mix according to the package. You can also make homeade brownies if you want - the mix is a time saver! Pour over baked crust and bake about 40 minutes more. Remove from oven and position the rack under the broiler. Top brownies with marshmallows and place under the broiler until golden, only about 2-3 minutes. Cool on a rack, gently removing the brownies from the pan using the aluminum foil flaps. Carefully separate any marshmallow from the foil and fold away. Cut into 12 squares.
