1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. rolled oats
1 c. white chocolate chips
1 c. coconut
2 c. flour*
1 c. walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the shortening and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla mix well. Combine soda, salt, baking powder and flour with creamed mixture. Mix and add rolled oats, coconut, chips and nuts. *Adjust flour for altitude.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees.
