2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. Crisco or cooking oil
1 c. water
3 T. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 t. soda
1 t. vanilla
ICING: 1 stick margarine
3 T. cocoa
4 T. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, sift together flour and sugar. Boil margarine, Crisco or cooking oil, water and cocoa. Whip into flour and sugar. Mix together eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla and add to mix. Batter will be thin. Bake in large sheet pan or 2 small sheet pans at 350 for 25 minutes or until done. ICING: boil margarine, cocoa, milk, powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix while hot. Pour on warm cake. May add nuts.
