6 bell peppers
2 lbs. hamburger meat
1 cup raw rice
1 large can stewed tomatoes
3 cups grated cheese
garlic powder
chili powder
salt
black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut bell pepper lengthwise. Clean and cook until tender, then drain. Brown hamburger meat and drain. Cook rice in 2 cups of water until done. Mix hamburger meat, rice, tomatoes and 1 cup of cheese together. Season with garlic powder, chili powder and salt and pepper to taste. Line bottom of 9 X 13 inch pan with bell pepper. Pour hamburger mixture on top of bell pepper and top with 2 cups of grated cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let set for about 20 minutes.

This recipe can be made ahead and frozen. The woman that gave me this recipe tops hers with small fritos after it comes out of the oven.
