1 bacon strip
1 medium onion, diced
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) chicken broth
2 cups water
2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Chopped fresh parsley, optional

Directions:
Directions:
In a 3 quart saucepan, cook bacon until crisp. Saute onion in drippings until tender. Add broth, water, potatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Add salt and pepper. Add corn and 3/4 cup milk. Combine flour and remaining milk until smooth and add to soup. Cook and stir for 2 more minutes. Garnish with bacon and parsley.
