1/3 cup margarine
1/2 cup flour
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup cream
1 TB minced onion
1/2 tsp ginger
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
4 cups cooked chicken
Pastry for one crust or biscuits

Blend the margarine and flour over low heat. Add the broth and cream all at once. Stir until thickened. Add the seasonings. Place chicken in a 2 quart shallow casserole dish and pour in the creamy sauce. Roll pastry to fit the casserole dish and cut holes in the top for the steam to escape. Brush with milk. Biscuits can also be used instead of the pie crust.
Bake at 425 until brown and bubbly (about 30 minutes).
