1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1 egg
2 TB milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

Mix all of the ingredients together.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll balls in 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Place balls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes or lightly browned.
Immediately press a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie. Cool.
Makes about 4 dozen.
