1 1/2 lb. ground beef
sm. can chopped olives, opt.
3 8 oz cans tomato sauce
1 pkg. taco seasoning

Filling: 1 1/2 pints small curd cottage cheese
1/2 pint sour cream
1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated ( I use mozarella as you can buy it shredded.)

1 bag of Dorito Corn Chips

Directions:
Saute ground beef and onion. Add: the small can of olives, if you wish, then the small cans of tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Simmer 15 mins.
Mix separately: the cottage cheese and sour cream.
Grate the cheese.
Crush loosely 1/2 of a pkg. of Dorito corn chips and layer in a 9 x 13" pan. Next add 1/2 of the meat mixture, then 1/2 of the cheese, and 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture. Repeat with the other 1/2 of the chips, meat and cheeses, saving a few crushed chips for sprinkling on top. Bake 375 for 25 mins. or until bubbly.
