1 c. Crisco 1 c. white sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 2 c. quick oatmeal 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 pkg. chocolate chips
Cream sugars with Crisco. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to shortening mixture:mix. Stir in oatmeal and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake 350 for 10-12 min., until done.
