1 cup butter
1 box light brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch salt
1 cup pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, heat the butter and brown sugar over low heat. Remove the pan from the heat and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour into a 9x13 greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 300 for 30 to 40 minutes. Cool, cut into squares, and top with a caramel sauce or whipped cream. May be served plain.
