1 pound butter 3 cups sugar 6 extra large eggs 4 sifted flour 2/3 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy: add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Alternate adding flour and milk, with flour being the last addition. Add vanilla. Bake at 350º for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
