2 (15 oz) cans red kidney beans
1 lrg. onion
1 chopped green pepper
1 lb. ground beef
1 can tomatoes (3 1/2 cups)
dash of paprika
dash of cayenne pepper
3 whole cloves
2 bay leaves
1 to 2 T. chili powder
11/2 tsp. salt

Directions:

Brown onion, green pepper & meat. Combine with tomatoes & seasoning. Simmer 1 hour, adding water if necessary. Add beans, simmer 1 hour more.

I use 2 cups of dry red kidney beans and soak them overnight with water to cover and 1 tsp. salt and 1 T. oil. then drain it in the morning. Discard water.
Cover with new water and cook in pressure cooker for 35 minutes. Drain, discard water.
Brown onion, meat & pepper. I add one quart of my canned tomatoes and spices and simmer together as above.
A good, delicious way to use storage.
