4 c. flour 1 T. sugar 1 1/2 t. salt 1 1/2 c. lard 1 egg 1 T. vinegar 1/2 c. water
Blend flour, sugar and salt. Cut in lard until particles are pea-sized. Beat egg; blend in vinegar and cold water. Sprinkle over flour mixture, one tablespoon at a time, tossing with fork to mix. Gather dough with fingers to form ball and roll out for pies.
