3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup sugar & 2 Tbsp cinnamon (mixed and set aside)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Cream together butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift and mix into creamed mixture; flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Chill for 30 minutes. Take dough out and lightly dust counter with 1/2 cinnamon/sugar mixture. Roll out to desired thickness and then pour other 1/2 cinnamon/sugar mixture onto top of rolled dough. *At this point, you might need to re-chill before rolling into log, if possible. Dough is very sticky when at room temperature Carefully and tightly, roll dough evenly into a log and cut into approximately 30 individual cookies. Bake for ten minutes or until golden brown.

This dough freezes well. After you have rolled up into a log, cut off what you desire to make, and cook. Freeze the rest in a tightly sealed container for up to one month.
