1 lb. smoked sausage (Eckrich, Hillshire, etc.)
1 15 oz. can of Bavarian Sauerkraut
1 large sweet onion
1 16 oz. can of beer (any variety)

Directions:
Directions:

Cut sausage into 2 inch slices and place in 3 or 4-quart pot. Cover sausage with sauerkraut. Cut onion into 1/2 inch slices and ring over sauerkraut. Pour beer over mixture and cook over medium heat until onion becomes transparent.

This is a family favorite. Bon appétit!
