6 tbls butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 cups (11.5 oz pkg) chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Line 2 9" round pans with foil,overlapping edges
Beat butter, sugarsand vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add eggs,beat well after each egg.
Stir together flour and soda, gradually add to batter mixture, beating until well blended.
Stir in chips.
Spread 1/2 of the batter on each pan, spreading to within one inch from edge.
Bake 15-20 minutes until lightly brown.
Cool completely, lift from pan and remove foil.
Now to make the Red Sox part of this:
Use 2 containers of frosting. I generally perfer to buy white frosting and dye part of it. Or you can buy the tubes of red, white and blue frosting with the tips. Decorate with a giant RED SOX and we generally put our favorite players #'s around the Sox.

This is a recipe that Danny asked me to include because he likes it so much,,,dah,,it's Red Sox....
If you want to make it even easier, buy 2 packages of Cho Chip cookie mix, follow package directions, put on a large pizza pan, and voila...here's your RED SOX giant cookie.
