1 1/4 cups self rising flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
oil
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients and add egg and milk, beating until smooth. Heat 1 inch oil to 375 in a deep skillet. Put mixture into a bowl and dip a rosette into the mixture and then into the hot oil. Just fry until light brown. Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
