6 slices bacon
1 large onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 (16 oz) can pork and beans
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dry mustard
1 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp molasses
1/4 cup of a good whiskey

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet, cook the bacon until done but not yet crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan, drain, chop, and set aside. Drain all but 2 tablespoons or drippings from the skillet. Add the onion and pepper and saute until soft. In a 1-quart casserole, combine all of the ingredients except the bacon. Top with the bacon. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes.
