1/2 cube butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs, beaten 1 c. mashed bananas 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1 c. whole wheat flour 1/3 c. hot water 1/4 c. wheat germ (optional)
Mix all wet ingredients (except water) with sugar. Mix dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients alternately with small amounts of the 1/3 cup of water until all is mixed nicely. Bake at 325º in a loaf pan. Bake at 350º if loaf pan is glass.
