1 c. Butter softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Cream together. Gradually add flour salt and soda. Divide into 2 parts and shape into a log roll. Wrap with wax paper and saran wrap tightly. Keep refrigerated for at least 4 hours. Best to make the night before.
Refrigerated dough will last for 2 weeks in the fridge.
Bake @ 400 for 8-10 minutes or until slightly golden. Do Not overbake.
