1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/4 cup flour
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 450. Melt butter in 9x13 baking pan in the oven. Remove as soon as butter is melted. In a bowl, stir dry ingredients together. Add milk and stir 30 strokes. Turn onto floured board and knead lightly about 10 times. Roll out 1/2 inch thick into 8 inch square. With floured knife, cut into strips approx. 4 inches wide, then cut crosswise to make 18 sticks. Dip sticks into butter; place in 2 rows in the pan. Bake 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.
