2 lb. ground beef
25 oz. tomato sauce
28 oz. diced tomatoes, undrained
2 c. chopped green peppers
2 c. cooked rice (converted or instant)
3 beef bouillon cubes or 14 oz. can beef broth
c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 t. salt
1 t. garlic salt
1 qt. water
chili powder and cayenne pepper, to taste

Brown and drain meat. Add other ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 30-40 minutes until peppers are soft. May garnish with grated cheese or diced peppers.
