1 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup chopped almonds
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 2/3 cup flour
sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar, and salt. Add chopped almonds, milk, extract, and flour. Mix well. Chill.

Shape into small balls. Put on ungreased cooking sheet. Press each to 1/3 inch thickness. Put sliced almonds on the center of each.

Bake at 350 oven 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
