Chocolate Mint Brownies Recipe

Brownie:
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 t. salt
4 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 can (16 oz.) chocolate flavored syrup
1 c. sugar

Filling:
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 T. water
1/2 t. mint extract
3 drops green food coloring

Topping:
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter
1/2 t. mint extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine all brownie ingredients in large bowl; mix at medium speed for 3 minutes. Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool completely.
2. Combine filling ingredients; beat until creamy. Spread over cooled brownies. Refrigerate until set.
3. Melt chocolate chips and butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Stir in mint extract. Let cool for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spread over filling. Store in refrigerator. (Before cutting, let the chilled brownies sit on your counter for 10-15 minutes so the chocolate topping doesn't crack when you cut them.)
