6 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/8 tsp. salt
4 oz. mushroom stems and pieces
2 c. cooked chicken
8 oz. can crescent rolls
4 c. chicken broth
4 T. fat
8 T. cornstarch
1/2 c. bread crumbs, finely crushed
1/4 c. finely chopped nuts
1 tsp. sage

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together cream cheese, butter and salt. Add mushrooms and chicken. Lay out rolls, press out diagonal perforations, rolling out each section just a little. Cut into 8 squares. On each square place 1/4 cup chicken mixture, bring up corners and press together as for dumplings. Brush melted butter and roll in crumb mixture. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Serve with gravy. To make the gravy, stir together chicken broth, fat and cornstarch. Bring to a boil and cook and stir until thickened. Add the crumb mixture. Cover rolls with sauce and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
