1 cup Crisco shortening
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. butter extract
1 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 cups all- purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup fruit preserves - your choice
1 cup chopped pecans

Cream shortening and sugar together and add eggs one at a time. Mix well. Add extracts and mix well. Add all dry ingredients together and alternate with milk while beating well. Fold in preserves and pecans and mix well. Bake at 350 for 1 hour 15 minutes in a greased and floured tube pan. Remove from pan while warm.
