1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple
1 (6 oz) pkg peach apricot or orange jello
2 Tbsp sugar
2 cups buttermilk
1 (8 oz) carton Cool Whip
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine pineapple and sugar in saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring. Remove from heat; add jello and stir until dissolved. Cool; add buttermilk and mix well. Fold in Cool Whip and nuts. May add diced peaches, apricots or mandarin oranges, well drained. Spoon into 12x8x2 inch dish and chill. Cut into squares to serve.
