1 c. Concord grapes, washed and stemmed

SYRUP:
1 quart water
1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:

For each quart of grape juice: put 1 cup grapes in a quart jar. Fill jar with hot sugar syrup and process in boiling water bath for 15 minutes (Follow normal canning instructions.)

SUGAR SYRUP: For 1 quart of sugar syrup: boil 1/2 cup sugar and 1 quart of water for 5 minutes.


My mother used to make grape juice this way. It has a lovely flavor.
