2 quarts water
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 pound cheese
2 cups macaroni
4 teaspoon onion
2 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
3/4 teaspoon salt
speck pepper
2 cups milk
4 tablespoon butter
3/4 cup soft bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Add macaroni to boiling salt water and cook 9 minutes. Put onion and 2 tablespoon butter or margarine in double boiler. Stir in flour, mustard, salt and pepper. Add milk and 3/4 of cheese. Stir and cook until smooth, Pour drained macaroni in greased 1-1/2 quart casserole and pour sauce over the macaroni. Sprinkle remaining cheese over mixture. Melt 4 tablespoons butter; toss in the bread crumbs until coated and sprinkle over macaroni. Bake 20 minutes in 400 oven.
