1 c. butter
1-1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. lemon juice
4 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. strawberry jam
1 c. pecan, chopped

Preheat oven to 350.

Combine butter, sugar, vanilla and lemon juice. Add eggs and
mix. Combine jam and sour cream, then add to egg mixture.
Add dry ingredients and nuts. Grease and flour two bread pans.
Bake for 50 - 60 minutes until center seems firm.
