2 cups lukewarm water 2 packs dry yeast 1 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 c white sugar 1 egg 1/4 c shortening 6 1/2 cups sifted flour
Do not knead this dough! Just mix well and make rolls. Put the dough in round cake tins. Let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Bake 400º 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Put any leftover dough in refrigerator and cover with bowl cover and damp towel. Good for 3 or 4 days.
