Ingredients:
3 to 5 lb Chuck Roast
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 pk dry Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 can Beef Broth
1/2 cup water
Flour
Salt & Pepper
1/2 T Worchestershire Sauce
Garlic Powder
1 1/2 T Kitchen Bouquet

Directions:
Directions:
Trim fat as needed from Roast. Season meat with garlic powder and salt & pepper. Not too heavy on the salt as soup mix and beef broth are salty. Flour both sides of seasoned roast. Heat 1/4 cup oil in iron skillet. Shake excess flour off roast and brown both sides in hot oil. Set roast aside in crock pot and pour oil from skillet. Pour enough beef broth in skillet to deglaze scraping bottom of pan. Turn off heat and add mushroom soup, onion soup mix, remainder of beef broth, kitchen bouquet, and water. Mix thoroughly and pour over roast. Cook on high for 1 hour and 7 hours on low.
Alternatively cook on low for 9 hours.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I remove roast from crockpot and pour up and cool gravy to remove fat from top. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
