2 1/4 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp soda
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup mince meat (or 1 can)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. In small bowl, sift together flour, salt, and soda. In medium bowl, cream shortening and add sugar gradually. Cream together until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat until smooth. Stir in mince meat. Slowly add flour mixture to the mince meat mixture, mixing well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet and bake about 12 minutes. Cool and move to flat surface. Store covered in cool room.
