1 c. fresh cranberries, rinsed and drained
4 firm-ripe d'Anjou or Bosc pears, peeled, cut in half and cored
1/2 lemon, rinsed, seeded and thinly sliced (discard ends)
1 c. sugar
2 T. cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cranberries, pears and lemon slices in a 2 qt. baking dish.
In a saucepan over medium-high heat stir vinegar,
sugar, spices and water until mixture boils and sugar dissolves. Pour over fruit and cover dish tightly with foil. Can sit in the refrigerator overnight.
Bake at 350 until pears are tender, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve warm or at room temperature.
