4 C. sliced cooking apples
1 C. cranberries
1/4 - 1/2 C. sugar (depending on how tart you like it)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 T. flour

Topping:
1 C. oats (quick or old fashion)
1/3 C. dark brown sugar
1/2 C. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, toss the apples, cranberries, sugar, spices and flour. Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Top with oatmeal mixture.

Topping: Combine until crumbly and sprinkle on top of apples. Bake 350 until apples are tender (about 1 hour). Best served warm.

Note: cranberries & flour may be omitted to make apple crisp. Add 1 T. Lemon Juice
