3 eggs, well beaten
1 C. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. shortening
1 C. brown sugar
1 C. white sugar
2 C. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 C. oatmeal
C. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the eggs, raisin, vanilla together and let stand 1 hour.
Cream shortening and sugars. Stir in dry ingredients and mix well. Blend in eggs and raisins, oatmeal and nuts. Dough will be stiff.

Heap tablespoons on cookie sheet
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
