C butter or margarine
1 C. sugar
1 C. mashed bananas
2 eggs, beaten well
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C. flour
1 tsp. Baking soda
tsp. salt
C buttermilk or sour cream
1 C. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Blend in eggs, bananas, and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to banana mixture with buttermilk. Mix thoroughly after each addition. Add nuts. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
