1 1/2 cups Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Ground Ginger
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Ground Cloves
1/2 cup Shortening
1 Egg
1/4 cup Molasses
3/4 cup Quick Rolled Oats

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all dry ingredients. Then add the shortening, egg and molasses and beat well. Stir in the quick rolled oats. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Back at 375F for 10-11 minutes. Wait a few minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack. Makes 36.
