1 lb. peeled and chopped carrots 1 lb. peeled and chopped rutabaga 1/2 stick butter salt and freshly ground pepper 2 T. freshly chopped parsley
Boil carrots and rutabaga until soft. Drain; add butter. Smash together with potato masher or food processor until pureed. Season with lots of pepper and a little salt. Transfer to serving dish; garnish with parsley.
